Manali Petrochemicals Limited (MPL), India' s leading petrochemicals company, specializing in the manufacture of propylene glycol and polyols has announced the re-appointment of Muthukrishnan Ravi as Managing Director of the company for a period of three years from 29th July 2020, when his present term ends. In his present role, Ravi oversees the strategic direction of the company responsible for driving the long-term growth and profitability.

 

Ravi holds a B. Tech degree from University of Madras and an MBA from XLRI. An industry veteran, Ravi has held senior leadership roles globally with DOW in India, China, and Singapore – and from 1999 to 2004, he headed Dow’s operations in South Asia. He has also held various positions in CPCL, SADAF, Esso and Sanmar. He joined MPL as the Chief Operating Officer in April 2011, before rising to become the Whole Time Director in July and then Managing Director in October of the same year. In parallel, Ravi also took on the role as Managing Director of TPL from February 2013 till February 2016.
