SRF Limited commissioned and capitalised specialty chemical plant at an aggregate cost of Rs. 60 crore on 30th March, 2021. 

On 4th February, 2020 SRF Limited board had approved a project for setting-up of a range of dedicated plants to produce specialty chemicals at an estimated cost of Rs. 238 crore.

 Incorporation in 1970 and the subsequent establishment of its first plant in Manali, near Chennai in 1974, SRF Limited has grown from being a single unit tyre cord manufacturer into a leading, professionally–managed, diversified chemicals conglomerate.
