Plant-based formulation designed to improve spray coverage, reduce spray drift and enhance agrochemical absorption across crops
Dhanuka Agritech Limited, a major player in India's crop protection sector, has introduced Wetcit Neo, an innovative plant-based biosolution adjuvant. Developed to maximize the efficiency of crop protection and nutrition applications, this new product optimizes spray coverage, minimizes drift, and improves absorption—especially on waxy leaf surfaces—allowing farmers to get the most value out of every application.
Commenting on the launch of Wetcit Neo, the management of Dhanuka Agritech Limited stated, "Efficient application of agricultural inputs is essential for helping farmers achieve better outcomes from their crop protection and nutrition practices. Wetcit Neo addresses a key challenge by improving spray spreading, coverage and absorption, particularly on crops where waxy leaf surfaces can limit the effectiveness of conventional sprays. Through innovative, plant-based technology, we aim to support more efficient input application and contribute to improved crop management practices."
Wetcit Neo is an innovative biosolution designed to eliminate spray runoff. By reducing water surface tension, it ensures every droplet spreads uniformly and clings firmly to the plant.
By improving contact between spray solutions and plant surfaces, the adjuvant is designed to support the effective delivery of crop protection products, including applications targeting insects and fungal diseases. Its broad compatibility with many existing agrochemical formulations also offers flexibility in agricultural spray applications, subject to product-label recommendations.
With the introduction of Wetcit Neo, Dhanuka Agritech is expanding its crop solutions portfolio, offering technologies to improve application efficiency, optimise agricultural input use, and help farmers address diverse crop management challenges.
