Kanoria Chemicals R&D unit granted recognition from DSIR

Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Limited has informed that its in-house R&D unit(s) at 3,407, GIDC Industrial estate, Ankleshwar, District Bharuch, Gujarat has been granted recognition from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.

The Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR) is operating a scheme for granting recognition & registration to in-house R&D units established by the corporate industry. The in-house R&D units under recognition of DSIR are to be engaged in innovative research & development activities related to the line of business of the firm.

DSIR in-house R&D recognition is valid till 31-03-2025 and acknowledges the company's R&D capabilities on a national level. Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Limited obtained the DSIR recognition for in-house R&D facility at Ankleshwar making the company eligible for the purpose of availing custom duty exemptions for R&D.

The DSIR recognition will help the company to provide status of In-house R&D center and helps benchmarks and acknowledges the company's R&D capabilities on a national and international level. The company's business will achieve newer heights with being able to offer niche products manufactured based on the in-house techniques.
