Diva Envitec, a leading innovator in the field of filtration technology, has announced the successful publishing of their PCT patent for a filtration device designed to revolutionize the reactor filtration process in collaboration with INEOS.

Developed under the guidance of the company’s Director, Lalit Vashista and Sanjeev Rai of INEOS, AG, this innovative device promises to transform industries operating in hazardous environments, such as hydrogenation, by enhancing safety and efficiency in the filtration process.

The patented filtration device combines advanced baffles and filters, enabling easy insertion and removal from reactors without the need for physical entry. This solution addresses the challenges faced by industries that operate in toxic and harmful environments, providing a safer and more efficient alternative for filter maintenance.

The filtration device comprises a first part with a generally cylindrical external profile frame, connection means for easy attachment inside the reactor, and baffles protruding inwardly from the frame. The device also features sets of filters fluidly connected to a header pipe. This unique design ensures the integration of baffles and filters into a separate and removable component, streamlining the maintenance process while minimizing exposure to toxic substances.

Diva Envitec’s filtration device is specially engineered to withstand the challenges of highly toxic and harmful environments. With applications ranging from hydrocarbon synthesis to cyclohexanone oxime production, where safety and efficient filtration are paramount. By eliminating the need for physical entry into the reactor, technicians can now replace or clean the filters externally, significantly reducing the risk of accidents and exposure to hazardous substances.

The successful publishing of this PCT patent reaffirms Diva Envitec’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of filtration technology. The company continues to innovate and develop revolutionary solutions that transform industries and improve lives.
