Microverse Automation, a company with a mission to design, develop, engineer, and manufacture highly complex Distributed Control System (DCS) in India, has bagged the single largest DCS order of 15,000 IO from Gharda Chemicals, a research-based company with four manufacturing units.

The DCS system provides excellent features such has power supply, controller, and communication between ES to controller and controller to IO’s. The DCS system will be used by Gharda Chemicals at their plant in Sayakha, Gujarat. The DCS order is worth few crores.

The DCS at Gharda Chemicals will help in safe manufacturing of Cypermethric Acid Chloride, Meta Phenoxy Benzyl Alcohol, Meta Phenoxy Benzaldehyde, High Trans CMA, etc. All these chemical processes are highly exothermic and hazardous so they need to be controlled with high precision. DCS from Microverse Automation is highly flexible and also meets the requirements of the companies.

“With our technologically advanced process control systems, we assure to bring laurels to India and make India a global leader in the manufacturing sector particularly in automation for manufacturing industry to deliver best in class products and solutions,”said Girish Mehendale, CEO & Managing Director, Microverse Automation Pvt. Ltd.

Some of the other wins in FY 2022-23 for Microverse Automation has been from Laxmi Organics Industries, a specialty chemical manufacturer focused on Acetyl Intermediates and Speciality Intermediates.

Laxmi Organics plants in Mahad produce a wide range of Acetyl products, bulk solvents, and Aldehydes. Acetyl products have applications in diverse industries like pharmaceutical formulations, printing inks, adhesives, and coatings. The company also manufactures speciality intermediates like Ketene & Diketene derivatives including Esters, Amides, and Arylides. These high quality speciality intermediates have applications in pharmaceuticals, synthesis and manufacturing of agrochemicals and pigments at their Lote Parshuram, Chiplun location in Maharashtra. Today most of these chemicals are manufactured on Microverse Automation’s DCS. In FY 2022-23, Microverse Automation has received 1,500 - 2,000 IO's worth few crores.

Vinati Organics, one of the leading manufacturers of specialty chemical and organic intermediaries, has taken a combined 1,900+ IOs worth few crores for their polymer processing plant and ETP plant. Vinati already has multiple DCS installations and highly automated plants in different locations.

All companies have opted for Microverse DCS as it not only meets their technical expectations but also provides flexibility of various customized features specially designed for company's operations.

For Marico Ltd., a billion-dollar FMCG company and manufacturer of numerous health and beauty brands including Parachute, Saffola, Hair & Care, Nihar Naturals, and Mediker, the company has supplied DCS for automation of the entire process for manufacturing of Saffola Oil at the Jalgaon plant. The DCS here takes care of all the stages of edible oil manufacturing from deodorizer.

Explaining our service oriented approach to corporates, Siddharth Mehendale, Director - Projects, Microverse Automation Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are large-enough to organize appropriate resources and small-enough to remain flexible to meet customer-specific requirements.”

For Excel Industries, Microverse has supplied DCS to Excel's Lote plant and has just completed the supply of DCS system for Excel's Roha plant. Both systems are for reactor automation. Excel Industries already had multiple DCS and PLC installations however they were looking to expand their plant using a technically comparable/superior yet cost-effective alternative. Microverse offers Microsys 3200 ET DCS to ensure critical process control solutions are implemented. The reactor automation requires advanced algorithms to ensure accurate and safe control.

Microverse Automation has been at the forefront of providing best in class technology. The company's DCS comes with G3 conformal coating for all its controllers and cards by default, to take care of harsh and corrosive plant environments. The DCS software comes with the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) with unlimited screens, unlimited history, and unlimited tags to meet the future expansion requirements.
