Pace Digitek Limited has secured a Rs. 92.9 crore order for the supply and commissioning support of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), adding fresh momentum to its expanding energy storage business.
The order was won by the company’s material subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited (LPPL), which received a Letter of Award from Kalpa Power Private Limited. The project is scheduled for completion by December 31, 2026.
The contract comes as Pace Digitek ramps up its BESS manufacturing operations, with installed capacity recently doubling from 2.5 GWh to 5 GWh. The company is targeting a further phased expansion to 10 GWh by the end of FY2027.
Pace Digitek said the new order strengthens near-term visibility for its manufacturing operations as demand grows for utility-scale and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy storage systems.
The company has manufactured more than 300 utility-scale BESS containers over the past year, representing approximately 1.5 GWh of battery energy storage capacity.
“This order strengthens our growing BESS business and provides further visibility for our manufacturing platform. Over the past year, we have built a track record of manufacturing and supplying utility-scale BESS systems and have progressively expanded our capacity from 2.5 GWh to 5 GWh.
"As the market develops, we remain focused on scaling manufacturing, increasing localisation and building the capabilities required to serve a wider range of BESS opportunities," said Pace Digitek Chairman and Managing Director Venugopalrao Maddisetty.
The company is positioning itself across the BESS value chain, spanning manufacturing, system integration and project execution, he added.
With BESS demand accelerating, the company is betting on higher manufacturing capacity, greater localisation and its growing execution track record to drive expansion in the energy storage market.
The Rs. 92.9 crore order adds to that pipeline, giving Pace Digitek another near-term project as it pushes to scale its BESS manufacturing footprint.
