ADAMA has launched Rexaro in India, introducing a dual-action foliar fungicide aimed at protecting high-value specialty crops from major Oomycete diseases.
The new fungicide is designed to deliver preventive and early curative control across key crops including grapes, potatoes and vegetables, giving growers a broader tool to manage fast-spreading diseases such as downy mildew and late blight.
Field trials in India demonstrated strong efficacy against downy mildew in grapes and cucumber, as well as late blight in potatoes. Rexaro also has activity against tomato root rot, downy mildew in brassicas and onions, expanding its potential use across a range of specialty crops.
ADAMA said Rexaro combines two complementary modes of action with an advanced liquid formulation designed to improve spreading and penetration through the leaf cuticle. The formulation also provides strong rainfastness and disperses effectively in tank mixes, supporting ease of application, crop safety and consistent field performance.
"Oomycete diseases can spread rapidly and significantly impact the quality and value of specialty crops," said Jean Zonato, Head of Global Fungicides at ADAMA.
"Growers need solutions that not only deliver effective disease control, but also perform reliably under real-world field conditions. By combining complementary modes of action with ADAMA's Ayalon technology, Rexaro provides a dependable tool that helps growers protect their crops with confidence."
The India launch adds another market to ADAMA's rollout of Rexaro. The product is also planned for launch in Ghana, where it will be used in cacao crops.
