Balaji Amines announces breakdown of Unit III DMF plant

Balaji Amines Ltd has announced that there was small incident at its unit III demethylformamide (DMF) plant due to which leakages/breakdown has taken place. While rectifying this the company is adding some debottlenecking activities to increase capacity which may take two to three weeks' time. During this period, the DMF plant will not be in operational.

Vinyl Chemicals India appoints D Shah as an additional director

The Board of Directors of Vinyl Chemicals (India) Limited at its meeting held today, have appointed Prakash D Shah as an Additional Director (Non-Executive and Independent Director) on Board of the Company with effect from 6th October 2021. The said appointment is made based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

D Shah is not related to any Director who are on the Board of the Company as on the date of his appointment.

Shah is a Solicitor and Advocate practicing in Mumbai and has experience of over 40 years.

Engineers India updates on additional charge as Director Finance

The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India has communicated that ACC has approved the proposal for extension of additional charge of the post of Director (Finance), Engineers India Limited assigned to Vartika Shukla, Chairman & Managing Director, Engineers India Limited, for a period of three months w.e.f. 01.10.2021 or till appointment of a regular incumbent to the post or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
