High purity isopropyl alcohol joins robust EastaPure solvents portfolio that meet semiconductor purity and reliability standards
Technology is evolving at a faster rate now than at any point in modern history. As the demand for semiconductors continues to rapidly increase, manufacturers feel the pressure to meet that need while maintaining the standards required to produce high-yield chips.
To support that demand, Eastman electronic grade isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is the latest addition to the EastaPure electronic chemicals line that offers U.S. semiconductor manufacturers a domestically made solvent as reliable in quality as it is in supply.
EastaPure IPA is an effective wet-clean solvent in wafer fabrication and throughout the semiconductor production process. It is widely used as cleaning and drying agent in front-end-of-line, middle-end-of-line, back-end-of-line, as well as with advanced packaging processes.
Eastman EastaPure electronic chemicals are made in world-class manufacturing facilities and housed in dedicated process and storage equipment to keep contaminants out. These specialized resources and in-house production controls ensure product reliability. Manufacturers using electronic grade IPA can have confidence as the strong need in quality assurance from industry remains a constant.
“EastaPure solutions are a testament to our culture of quality infused with innovative thinking,” said Levi Aray, Eastman Segment Market Manager. “We are excited to bring this new solvent to the marketplace, and we are ready to meet the needs of customers who previously have had to rely on solvents shipped in from overseas.”
