1500+ delegates attended the first day of the NextGen Chemicals and Petrochemicals Summit 2021
The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt of India is organizing a meeting with industry stakeholders on October 20, 2021 to discuss the new chemical policy, informed Bhagwanth Khuba, Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilisers, Govt. of India said at the inauguration of the NextGen Chemicals and Petrochemicals Summit 2021 today.
Giving a patient hearing to the industry stakeholders, Khuba said: " I am working towards making India 'Atma Nirbhar' in the chemical and petrochemical sectors".
Lauding the efforts of the government on the renewable energy front, Khuba said that the country is on the track to achieve the target. On the Govt's Hydrogen Energy Mission, the Minister said: Ïndia is set to become a leader of the world in hydrogen energy.

Khuba congratulated Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for completing 20 years in public service. The Prime Minister is a great supporter of doing 'Ease of Business''. Ïn last 7 years, our government has created great infrastructure to support manufacturers and producers across the industry," he added.
Congratulating Indian Chemical News, Khuba said the organizer has given a very enthusiastic platform to bring all manufacturers and producers to outline the strategy to achieve the set growth target for the Indian chemical and petrochemical sector. "This Summit will bring sea changes in the Indian chemical and petrochemical sectors," he concluded.
The first day of the event witnessed the participation of over 1500 delegates.
