Navin Fluorine International Limited (NFIL) has commenced commercial production at its new 40,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) hydrofluoric acid (AHF) plant in Dahej, Gujarat. The Rs. 450 crore facility, operated by its subsidiary, strengthens the company's position in the specialty chemicals sector to serve rising demand in pharmaceutical, agro-chemical, and renewable sectors.

The plant significantly increases the company's total AHF capacity, which was previously around 20,000 TPA at its Surat facility.

The increased production capacity is designed to cater to growing demand from the fluorochemicals industry, specifically targeting sectors like pharmaceutical, agro-chemical, and renewable energy.
