PCBL Chemical acquires 116.62 acre in Andhra Pradesh

PCBL has received 116.62 acres of land from the Andhra Pradesh government for its sixth manufacturing unit at Naidupeta MPSEZ

PCBL Chemical said the Government of Andhra Pradesh has agreed to allocate 116.62 acres of land at Naidupeta MPSEZ for the proposed rubber black and value-added chemicals manufacturing unit.

The cost of of the land has been marked as Rs. 1,948 per square meter. The company intends to invest in this project of Rs. 3,718 crore, this investment will provide direct employment for the 200 people.

This new facility will focus on producing rubber black, performance chemicals and specialty chemicals further strengthening our position as a leader in the industry.

The approval was accorded in the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting held on November 19, 2024, based on the recommendations of the State Investment Promotion Committee (SIPC). “The allocation of land shall be made applicable subject to company adhering to the definite time lines for implementation of the project and investment and employment commitment from the company as per the proposal submitted and subject to other conditions, as applicable, as per the allotment regulations of APIIC,” an order from Andhra govt. said.

This marks a significant step towards achieving goal of 10,00,000 MTPA manufacturing capacity.

Meanwhile, PCBL also commissioned second and final phase i.e, 20,000 MTPA of 40,000 MTPA specialty chemical capacity at Mundra Plant, Gujarat.
