AVEVA and NVIDIA team up to power next-gen AI factories

AVEVA and NVIDIA are creating a new approach to digital twin deployments

  • By ICN Bureau | March 18, 2026
AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, has announced a major collaboration with NVIDIA to integrate AVEVA’s engineering and operations software into the NVIDIA Omniverse DSX Blueprint. The partnership will create modular physical and digital solutions for large-scale AI data centers—dubbed “AI Factories”—mirroring methods used in engineering, procurement, and construction projects.

The collaboration leverages AVEVA’s full portfolio, including its CONNECT industrial intelligence platform and industrial digital twin capabilities, promising faster deployment and greater GPU efficiency for AI Factories.

The initiative complements AVEVA’s work with strategic partners Schneider Electric and ETAP, jointly advancing the design, simulation, construction, operation, and optimization of AI Factories via the NVIDIA Omniverse DSX Blueprint.

Key benefits for customers include:

Seamless asset integration: OpenUSD SimReady assets can be brought into AVEVA Unified Engineering through a new converter, enabling reuse of existing assets, creation of new ones, and high-fidelity simulations using NVIDIA Omniverse libraries.

Unified asset management: AVEVA Asset Information Management provides a single source of truth to manage equipment and systems from design to operations.

Advanced process simulation: AVEVA Process Simulation allows modeling of liquid-cooling networks to optimize AI factory efficiency.

Real-time data insights: AVEVA’s PI System aggregates IT and OT data across NVIDIA Omniverse DSX Exchange and will integrate NVIDIA NV-Tesseract models for anomaly detection and forecasting.

Comprehensive operations control: AVEVA Operations Control and Unified Operations Center enable scalable management of electrical, mechanical, and safety systems, accelerating root cause analysis and operational decisions.

Rob McGreevy, Chief Product Officer at AVEVA, said: “AI Factories are fast becoming the industrial-scale engines of the global digital economy. To drive this transformation, AVEVA and NVIDIA are creating a new approach to digital twin deployments, founded on domain-specific expertise, pioneering software and operational excellence.

"Together, our companies are creating this new digital twin at scale, combining SimReady assets, NVIDIA hardware, and IT and OT data-driven insights to design, build and AI-optimise the intelligent industries of the future.”

Vladimir Troy, vice president of AI Infrastructure at NVIDIA, added: “The rapid rise of gigawatt-scale AI Factories requires a new class of industrial intelligence to optimize the entire lifecycle of these massive data centers, from initial design to real-time operations.

"By integrating AVEVA’s engineering and simulation software into the NVIDIA Omniverse DSX blueprint, we are providing developers with a unified digital twin architecture to accelerate the deployment and efficiency of the world’s most advanced AI infrastructure.”
