Magma signs Rs. 800 crore-plus LOIs as enterprise industrial demand accelerates

India’s advanced materials and specialty chemicals market, valued at more than $200 billion, is seeing manufacturers increasingly prioritise high-performance inputs

Magma, India’s integrated industrial solutions company, has signed Letters of Intent (LOIs) worth more than Rs. 800 crore, signalling strong and expanding demand from enterprise manufacturers across advanced materials, waste management, precision engineering and digital industrial solutions.

The company expects to execute around 70% of its current LOI pipeline in FY27, giving it strong revenue visibility for the remainder of the financial year. The pipeline also underscores deeper relationships with large manufacturers and growing demand for localised industrial solutions.

India’s industrial B2B trade is estimated at around $2 trillion. In precision engineering, imports account for 60-65% of high-value component consumption, creating an annual gap of more than Rs. 20,000 crore that organised domestic suppliers are positioned to address.

At the same time, India’s advanced materials and specialty chemicals market, valued at more than $200 billion, is seeing manufacturers increasingly prioritise high-performance inputs that can improve production efficiency, quality and consistency across ceramics, polymers, packaging and other industrial applications.

Magma Green is also seeing rising demand for clean, sorted and traceable recycled industrial feedstock as manufacturers seek cost-effective and sustainable alternatives to virgin materials.

The shift is being driven by both government mandates and the requirements of global customers. India’s recycling market is valued at $23.7 billion in 2026 and is projected to reach $62.6 billion by 2035, with tightening Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) mandates increasingly making traceable recycled feedstock a core procurement requirement rather than simply a sustainability consideration.

In precision engineering, Magma Engineering is seeing strong demand for the indigenisation and supply of critical components and precision-engineered parts, particularly in applications where component availability can directly affect factory uptime.

Magma’s Advanced Materials business continues to see demand for performance materials, compounds and specialty products aimed at improving production quality, efficiency and consistency. Its digital solutions are also gaining traction across industrial procurement and supply-chain operations.

The company currently serves more than 200 active factories across India, including over 110 large enterprise and conglomerate customers.

Its customer base includes major industrial groups such as Reliance, JB Group, Birla Group, Indorama Group, RSWM Ltd, Uflex Ltd, Chiripal Group, Alliance Group, Dodhia Industries, Ganesha Ecosphere and Dalmia Industries, alongside more than 100 other large industrial conglomerates spanning chemicals, ceramics, plastics, polymers and packaging.

"What we are seeing today is the beginning of a compounding flywheel. A critical problem gets us into a factory, execution earns trust, and that trust creates the opportunity to solve more of the customer's industrial needs.

"As this playbook repeats across enterprises, our focus is to scale with discipline, remain capital efficient and continue building a profitable business. We think the platform we can build from here is significantly larger than what exists today," said Neal Thakker, Founder & CEO, Magma.
