Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Cisco have deepened their two-decade partnership with the launch of a new Center of Excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad aimed at accelerating the shift to fully autonomous enterprise operations.
The new hub, located at TCS’ Synergy Park Campus, is designed to help enterprises move beyond rule-based automation toward intelligent, self-governing systems capable of understanding context in real time — and acting on it independently. The goal: zero-touch operations that cut complexity, eliminate friction across IT environments, and deliver exponential business outcomes.
The CoE will serve as both an innovation engine and an immersive experience center, enabling customers to climb the five levels of the TCS Services Autonomy Model. By combining Cisco’s AI-driven observability and AIOps capabilities with TCS’ industry expertise, the facility will develop next-generation, AI-first solutions tailored to specific business processes across industries.
At the heart of the transformation is an Agentic AI mesh architecture designed to power autonomous operations. The framework will enable systems to sense and contextualize behavioral states in real time through observability, assist and automate workflows via conversational AI layers, and orchestrate as well as self-heal using intelligent automation engines.
Executives from both companies positioned the initiative as a defining step toward business-first IT.
Tim Coogan, Senior Vice President, Global Partner Sales, Cisco, said, "The Center of Excellence is a testament to the strength of our longstanding partnership with TCS. By combining Cisco’s AI-driven technology with TCS’ deep industry expertise, we are empowering our mutual customers to accelerate their journey toward autonomous operations and achieve unprecedented business agility."
V Rajanna, President, Technology Software and Services, TCS said, "TCS and Cisco have a long history of over two decades in delivering innovation at scale, and we are pleased to expand this collaboration with the launch of the Center of Excellence for Autonomous Enterprise.
"The CoE will be a co-innovation platform for enterprises that will help them embrace autonomous IT operations with self-learning, self-action and self-governance capabilities. This hub will enable enterprises to accelerate their transition to Autonomous Operations through improved business agility and deliver measurable business impact.”
Beyond technology upgrades, the companies say the initiative marks a fundamental shift in how IT supports business strategy — moving from performance metrics alone to outcome-driven, integrated, experience-focused operating models.
With enterprises under mounting pressure to modernize, TCS and Cisco are positioning the Hyderabad CoE as a launchpad for the next era of connected, perpetually adaptive IT ecosystems — and a bold step toward business autonomy at scale.
