VSFIL sets up a solar power plant

Solar plant commission will also help VSFIL in significant cost savings and operational efficiencies which will aid in margin expansion in the long run

Vidhi Specialty Food Ingredients Limited (VSFIL), a leading manufacturer of superior synthetic food grade colours with capacity of 300MT/month has set up a 2 MW solar power plant at Village Rambhapur, Murtizapur in Akola district of Maharashtra.  

100% of electricity generated through solar power plants shall be utilised for captive use by the company. The project will support the company’s green energy requirements for its manufacturing units and will also help the company reduce carbon emissions. 

Solar plant commission will also help VSFIL in significant cost savings and operational efficiencies which will aid in margin expansion in the long run. The total cost of the project (including land) is approximately Rs. 9 crore which is fully funded by internal accruals.
