Social media posts claimed that Bodal Chemicals announced a merger with a private entity to expand operations and enhance market synergies.

In a regulatory filing submitted to BSE and NSE on September 14, 2026, the company stated "We, Bodal Chemicals Limited, came to know about the fake news, i.e. Bodal Chemicals: Co announces merger with a private equity fund to expand operations; expected to enhance market presence and synergies” on social platform.

In this regard, we hereby clarify that no such amalgamation is under consideration of management and this is completely fake and baseless news spreading on social media. We hereby also inform you that Bodal Chemicals does not have any relation to these social media handles, who are spreading this news.

Further, Bodal Chemicals Limited follows Corporate Governance ethics and follows the disclosure required under the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 and there is no such undisclosed information."
