DCM Shriram bags 'GEO Excellence Award' in Large Scale Industries category

DCM Shriram’s Chemicals Business facility at Bharuch has been awarded with “IR Award for the Organisation for Smooth and Proactive IR” by Gujarat Employers’ Organisation (GEO). Jayanti Parmar, VP-HR, DCM Shriram Ltd (Chemicals) received the award at a ceremony held in Vadodara, Gujarat on March 15, 2024.  

GEO is registered as employers' trade union to play a crucial role to inculcate culture of trust and faith to create an amicable environment for industries.

Employees’ welfare is at the heart of the organisation and this recognition is a reflection of inclusive, employee friendly practices at the organisation.

DCM Shriram is India’s second largest Chlor-Alkali manufacturer and the chemicals’ business has a product portfolio comprising of caustic soda, chlorine, hydrogen, hydrochloric acid and Stable bleaching powder. It is also coming up with significant capacities of Hydrogen Peroxide and Epichlorohydrin in coming months along with additional Caustic Soda capacity at Bharuch.

Recently, DCM Shriram announced its entry into advanced materials space at an investment of Rs 1,000 crore and also signed a MoU with Gujarat Government to invest approx. Rs. 12,000 crore by 2028.
