Gurit secures CHF 12 million wind energy supply deal with global turbine manufacturer

Gurit has strengthened its position in the global wind energy market after securing a new two-year supply contract with a leading international wind turbine manufacturer, valued at approximately CHF 12 million.
 
The agreement will see Gurit provide a portfolio of epoxy-based resins and adhesives used in the production of wind turbine blades, expanding the company’s existing partnership with the customer and broadening the range of formulated products supplied for blade applications.
 
The contract covers advanced epoxy solutions tailored for specialized wind blade manufacturing needs, including established epoxy systems and custom formulations developed by Gurit’s team of chemists and technicians at its Isle of Wight, UK facility.
 
The deal highlights Gurit’s growing role as an integrated composite solutions provider for the wind energy sector, combining materials expertise, application knowledge and technical support across the blade manufacturing value chain.
