A fundamental driver behind this strong credit validation is the rising market requirement for Hydrofluoric Acid and value-added derivatives like solar-grade Diluted Hydrofluoric Acid
ICRA has reaffirmed its long-term credit rating for Tanfac Industries Limited at ‘A+’ with a stable outlook, while simultaneously enhancing the company's total rated bank loan facilities to Rs. 225 crore. The updated rating action elevates the total credit line from its previous threshold of Rs. 195 crore, incorporating an enhanced Rs. 70 crore term loan instrument alongside its standard working capital limits. Simultaneously, the premier credit rating agency reaffirmed the manufacturer’s short-term rating at ‘A1+’, underscoring its premier financial security framework.
According to the latest ICRA Rating Rationale, the credit assessment factors in the chemical manufacturer's deeply established market position in the specialized fluorochemicals sector. A fundamental driver behind this strong credit validation is the rising market requirement for Hydrofluoric Acid (HF) and value-added derivatives like solar-grade Diluted Hydrofluoric Acid (DHF). Tanfac's operational scales were heavily amplified by a strategic capacity expansion executed recently, leading to robust volume-led earnings and higher market realizations across its chemical portfolios.
Furthermore, the agency highlighted Tanfac’s healthy capital structure, noting that the enterprise operates as a net debt-free entity with exceptionally strong debt coverage indicators. To support major upcoming expansions—specifically its high-capital refrigerant gas plant and ongoing facility maintenance—the company successfully closed a Rs. 250 crore Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP). This critical capital inflow preserves liquidity, ensuring that its projected Rs. 390 crore asset expenditure relies minimally on external financial pressure.
The evaluation also weights heavily on the powerful corporate synergies derived from its parent organization, Anupam Rasayan India Limited (ARIL), which commands management control. While the company remains exposed to global custom duty revisions and specialized transport regulations due to the hazardous nature of HF production, its operational linkages with ARIL and strong market foundations solidify a secure commercial trajectory.
