FFCO recently announced the reduction of Rs. 50/bag in the price of NP 20:20:0:13 Ammonium Phosphate Sulphate Fertilisers across India with immediate effect on all stocks.

The cost is reduced by Rs. 1,000/Tonne as support to farmers on Sulphur, a key input nutrient for the soil. This nutrient is very important for all types of oilseeds crops. It improves the quality of the crops and also helps in the good growth of the plants. This reduction of Rs. 50 per bag on NP 20:20:0:13 Fertilisers reducing agriculture input cost to farmers is inline with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of doubling the farmers income by 2022.

IFFCO will keep on reducing prices wherever possible for farmers. Recently in September, 2020 IFFCO also announced that they will not increase any cost of DAP & NPK fertiliser in this Rabi season for the farmers.

A few days back, the company had assured that it has no plan to increase the Maximum Retail Price of DAP and NPK fertilizers.

IFFCO Managing director U.S Awasthi said in a tweet that though there is a huge spike in the cost of raw materials like phos acid and others in the international market, still we are not going to increase the price of fertilizers.

He said that there is no plan to increase the MRP of DAP and NPK fertilizers during rabi season as “our aim is to serve the farmer Community by reducing input agri cost for them which is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s clarion call of Atma Nirbhar Bharat. It also aims to double the farmers' income by 2022".

IFFCO is a leading cooperative society engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing of fertilizers. It has 5 manufacturing plants in India.
