The contest aims to engage India’s artistic talent in representing the nation’s vision of becoming a global hub for the production, usage, and export of green hydrogen and its derivatives
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, has announced an open invitation for creative individuals across the country to design a logo for the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM).
The contest aims to engage India’s artistic talent in representing the nation’s vision of becoming a global hub for the production, usage, and export of green hydrogen and its derivatives.
The National Green Hydrogen Mission is a flagship initiative of the Government of India, designed to establish a comprehensive ecosystem for Green Hydrogen. The mission seeks to drive large-scale decarbonisation across sectors, reduce dependence on fossil fuel imports, and position India as a global leader in Green Hydrogen technology and markets.
Through this logo design competition, MNRE encourages citizens of all ages to visually capture the essence of the mission — symbolising India’s commitment to sustainability, self-reliance, innovation, and clean energy transition. The logo should creatively reflect the multi-sector potential of Green Hydrogen, highlighting its role in industries such as steel, transport, fertilizers, shipping, and petrochemicals.
Participants must submit their designs in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format, with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI and dimensions of 15 cm x 20 cm. Entries will be evaluated by an internal committee of MNRE on parameters including creativity, originality, composition, technical quality, simplicity, visual appeal, and thematic relevance to the mission.
The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000, a certificate of recognition from the Mission Director, and reimbursement of round-trip domestic airfare to New Delhi. Additionally, ten runners-up will each receive a cash prize of Rs. 5,000.
The Ministry invites all creative minds to contribute to this initiative and be a part of India’s green energy revolution by designing a logo that reflects the nation’s growing leadership in sustainable innovation.
