Global specialty chemicals company Nouryon’s India operations have secured Great Place To Work Certification for 2026, marking the second consecutive year the company has earned the workplace distinction.

The recognition underscores Nouryon’s continued investment in its people and operations in India, spanning its corporate office, global service center, innovation center and organic peroxide production site in Mahad.

“Years of sustained investment in Nouryon's India operations – across our corporate office, global service center and innovation center – plus our organic peroxide production site in Mahad have laid the groundwork for this recognition,” said Sobers Sethi, senior vice president, Emerging Markets and China, at Nouryon.

“Our ongoing certification is the result of the deliberate, long-term investment we've made in our people and capabilities in India. This award reflects that work and the team behind it."

The company said its focus on workplace culture is reflected in employees’ day-to-day experience, including opportunities to work on business-critical projects, make an impact, develop careers across global and regional teams, and build long-term careers at Nouryon.

"This certification in India reflects our broader ambition to build a great place to work for our people everywhere," said Jennifer Durbin, Nouryon's chief human resources officer. "We are committed to a culture of working with purpose so that – no matter where our employees are based – they can do meaningful work, grow their careers and thrive."

The Great Place To Work certification is based on employee feedback gathered through the organization’s proprietary and anonymous Trust Index survey. The certification is widely recognized as a benchmark for workplace culture, employee experience and leadership practices associated with high-trust workplaces.

For Nouryon, the back-to-back certification highlights the company’s continued emphasis on strengthening its people, capabilities and workplace culture in India.
