Praj GenX, the wholly owned subsidiary of Praj Industries Ltd., has entered the fast-growing global hyperscale data centre market after signing an exclusive framework supply agreement with a leading global engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company.

The long-term agreement, one of several framework partnerships Praj GenX is pursuing with global customers across industrial sectors, positions the company as the preferred supplier of precision fabrication components and modules for hyperscale data centre infrastructure projects.

The contract carries a minimum committed business value of US$52 million (around Rs. 500 crore), with supplies scheduled to be delivered in multiple tranches over the next two-and-a-half years.

Execution of the first tranche has already begun at Praj GenX's mega manufacturing facility in Mangaluru, Karnataka. Built on Industry 5.0 principles, the facility integrates advanced automation, collaborative robotics and world-class precision fabrication infrastructure.

The agreement marks a significant diversification for Praj GenX, as surging investments in artificial intelligence and cloud computing fuel global demand for hyperscale data centres.

The company said its engineering expertise, modular manufacturing capabilities and adherence to global quality standards have helped it establish itself as a trusted partner for international customers across sectors including oil and gas, advanced biofuels, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), hydrogen, carbon capture and emerging digital infrastructure.

Commenting on the development, Pramod Chaudhari, Chairman of Praj GenX and Founder Chairman of Praj Group, said: "This agreement is a significant milestone for Praj GenX. It validates our engineering expertise, manufacturing capabilities, and commitment to execution excellence.

"The rapid adoption of AI and cloud computing is driving unprecedented investments in hyperscale data centers worldwide. We see this as a significant long-term opportunity and look forward to building enduring partnerships with customers across the globe."
