Praj signs MoU with Petroleum Ministry to facilitate setting up of CGB plants

MoU's objective is to facilitate technological support to the entities for setting-up and commissioning of multiple number of eligible and qualified CBG plants and their continuous operation for production of CBG and Organic Compost Manure under Sustainable Alternative Towards Affordable Transportation scheme

Praj Industries Ltd. has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas in presence of Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas & Steel, Government of India on 20th November 2020 with the objective to facilitate technological support to the entities for setting-up and commissioning of multiple number of eligible and qualified CBG plants and their continuous operation for production of CBG and Organic Compost Manure under Sustainable Alternative Towards Affordable Transportation (SATAT).
 
On the same day, companies including Petronet LNG, Torrent Gas, Adani Gas and JBM Group had signed a similar MoU with MoPNG for developing green energy and biofuels based projects in India.

I also thank Indian Oil, CEID, Praj Industries and Bharat Biogas for facilitating technological support for the upcoming CBG plants" stated the twitter handle of Dharmendra Pradhan.
