Rossari Biotech delivers steady Q1 FY27 growth as net profit climbs 4.5% to Rs. 35 Cr

Rossari Biotech has reported a steady start to fiscal year 2026-27, with consolidated revenue growth and sustained profitability in the first quarter ended June 30, 2026.
 
The specialty chemicals company posted a strong 28.5% year-on-year jump in total income, supported by robust operational momentum across key business segments.
 
The company’s consolidated unaudited financial results showed Total Income of Rs. 700.38 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs. 544.91 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. On a sequential basis, revenue remained broadly stable against Rs. 703.92  crore recorded in Q4 FY26.
 
The growth was powered by core operations, with Revenue from Operations rising 28.2% year-on-year to Rs. 697 crore, compared with Rs. 543.71 crore in Q1 FY26.
 
Rossari Biotech reported a Consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 35.09 crore, marking a 4.5% year-on-year increase from Rs. 33.59 crore in Q1 FY26. The company’s Total Comprehensive Income rose 5.8% to Rs. 35.44 crore, reflecting continued financial resilience.
 
Profit before tax stood at Rs. 476.72 million, registering a 3.4% annual increase over Rs. 46.09 crore in the previous year’s corresponding quarter.
 
Total expenses during the quarter stood at Rs. 653.17 crore, compared with Rs. 499.33 crore in Q1 FY26, reflecting increased business activity and higher raw material consumption. The cost of materials consumed rose to Rs. 514.67 crore, driven by volume expansion.
 
The company reported a profit before accounting for joint ventures, associates, exceptional items, and taxes of Rs. 47.21 crore. After accounting for a share of profit from joint ventures and associates, profit before tax reached Rs. 47.67 crore.
