UFlex Limited was granted a 20-year Indian patent (Patent No. 603158) by the Patent Office, Government of India, on September 18, 2026, for its high-speed twin aseptic packaging machine built for liquid products.

This technology protection gives UFlex Limited exclusive rights to its continuous vertical form-fill-seal system under its aseptic liquid packaging division, Asepto.

The patent covers an aseptic packaging machine for filling and sealing liquid food products at highspeed. It has a unique design, which increases production efficiency, reduces machine footprint, and improves resource efficiency through lower air and power consumption.

The machine employs a continuous vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) configuration with a center seal strip for vertical sealing and an induction sealing arrangement for cross-sealing of packages. Its compact structure incorporates multiple machine frames, strip applicator units, vertical heads etc. for continuous packaging operations.

An integrated PLC and HMI panel enables centralized control of the machine functions. The advanced configuration facilitates the formation of multiple sealed packages from packaging laminate, while meeting aseptic packaging requirements.
