The Asociación Española del Hidrógeno (AeH2) and the Hydrogen Association of India (HAI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster the joint deployment of cutting-edge Spanish hydrogen technology with India’s skilled workforce.

This MoU marks a milestone moment for Indo-Spanish cooperation that began with the formation of GreenH Electrolysis, a JV between H2B2 Electrolysis Technologies and GR Promoter Group. The collaboration include: joint research, innovation, and technology development initiatives; academic and expert exchanges and promotion of hydrogen technology and industrial growth in Spain and India.

The MoU was signed in New Delhi by Dr. Javier Brey, Chairman, AeH2 and Dr. R K Malhotra, President, HAI, at the residence of the Ambassador of Spain to India. Present at the occasion were several industry stakeholders, including Juan Antonio March Pujol, Ambassador of Spain to India, and Sujit Pillai, Scientist at the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.

This collaboration represents a strong vote of confidence in the synergies between the two countries, establishing a robust platform for exchange and cooperation across industry, academia, government, and research institutions. It marks a significant step toward realizing the shared goal of accelerating hydrogen innovation in a structured and mutually beneficial manner.
