Andhra CM inaugurates Hero Future Energies’s hydrogen – LPG blending plant

This project marks a significant milestone in India’s energy transition

Hero Future Energies (HFE) has announced that N Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh recently inaugurated HFE’s first of its kind green hydrogen plant for blending green hydrogen with LPG.

The plant, set up at Rockman Industries factory in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, was inaugurated by the Chief Minister in the presence of K. Vijayanand, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. N. Yuvaraj, Secretary Industries, Govt. of AP, CM Saikanth Varma, IAS, CEO of APEDB, Rahul Munjal, Founder and CMD, Hero Future Energies, and Ujjwal Munjal, Managing Director of Rockman Industries.

This project marks a significant milestone in India’s energy transition, opening up a new frontier in decarbonization of industrial processes, particularly in the hard-to-abate sectors. HFE is committed to working on many such innovative clean tech solutions and contributing towards building a sustainable and energy secure future for India.
