The shipment, produced at Charbone’s Sorel-Tracy facility in Quebec, marks the company’s commercial debut
Charbone Corporation has delivered its first load of clean ultra-high purity hydrogen to an independent distributor in Ontario, officially launching revenue generation from its production operations.
The shipment, produced at Charbone’s Sorel-Tracy facility in Quebec, marks the company’s commercial debut and confirms its ability to supply customers beyond its home province from day one. It is the first delivery under a new distribution relationship and a key proof point for the company’s production and logistics capabilities.
The milestone signals the start of a new growth phase as Charbone moves to expand its distribution network across Eastern Canada and into the US Midwest.
With limited availability of consistent, clean UHP hydrogen in North America and strong market demand, the company said it will not disclose contract volumes or pricing to protect its competitive position. Revenue from production, distribution, and advisory services will be reported on a consolidated quarterly basis.
“We are extremely proud to begin delivering locally produced clean UHP hydrogen to our first customer today,” said Dave Gagnon, Charbone’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. “This is another major milestone for Charbone, and also for the clean UHP hydrogen industry in North America.”
