Cepsa and GETEC have reached an agreement at the World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam by which Cepsa will supply green hydrogen to GETEC for the supply of green energy to GETEC´s industry clients in Europe starting in 2026

First project being developed as part of the agreement, will have up to two gigawatts (“GW”) of solar PV installed capacity and is estimated to produce 459 kilotons (“kton”) of green ammonia and 89 kton of green hydrogen annually
This project involves reviewing all assets, including compression stations, meters, and facilities.

The proposed project envisions a jointly owned 100-megawatt (MW) electrolysis plant at the Verdigris Complex that would be powered by a dedicated 450-MW renewable energy facility developed by NextEra Energy Resources
