ADAMA has appointed Dr. Zhigang Hao as President and Chief Executive Officer of ADAMA, effective November 1, 2026.

Zhigang brings extensive international leadership experience across operations, strategy, investment, transformation and corporate governance, with a career spanning global industrial businesses and diverse markets and cultures.

Before stepping into his role at ADAMA in November 2026, Zhigang was the Chief Executive Officer of BlueStar Adisseo, a global leader in specialty chemicals and animal nutrition. His prior experience includes serving as Chairman of China Bluestar, where he managed the group's strategic planning, investments, and corporate governance for a global portfolio that featured Adisseo, Elkem, REC Solar, and Qenos.

Earlier in his career, Zhigang held roles across operations, strategy and investment, giving him broad experience in improving business performance, developing global businesses and leading organizations through periods of change.

Zhigang holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering, an Executive MBA, and additional degrees in chemical engineering and chemical technology.

Zhigang succeeds Gaël Hili, who has led ADAMA since October 2024 and will become Chairman of the Boards of ADAMA Agricultural Solutions Ltd. and ADAMA Ltd.
