Indian Chemical Council elects new President, Vice President

Ravi Goenka has been elected as President and Bimal Lalitsingh Goculdas as Vice President.

Ravi Goenka, Managing Director, Laxmi Organic Industries Limited has been elected as President and Bimal Lalitsingh Goculdas as Vice President (VP) of Indian Chemical Council (ICC).

 

Ravi Goenka has taken the position from Vijay Sankar, Deputy Chairman, The Sanmar Group who had held the position of President for two years since 2018.

 

Ravi Goenka is a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and has been involved with the day to day affairs of Laxmi since incorporation. He has more than 30 years of experience in the varied industries ranging from chemicals, papers, education, power etc.

 

An entrepreneur par excellence and very well networked in the industry, Ravi Goenka spearheads the strategy team of the company and plays an important role in development of global relationships, mergers and acquisitions. He is also a notable social worker and under his visionary leadership Laxmi has grown by leaps and bounds.

 

Bimal Lalitsingh Goculdas, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, The Dharamsimorarji Chemical Co. Ltd. has been appointed as Vice President of Indian Chemical Council.

 

Bimal Goculdas heads the team and is responsible for its overall performance. He is a chemical engineer with post graduate qualifications from the USA and has two decades of work experience in India and the USA.

 

Indian Chemical Council (ICC), established in 1938, is dedicated to the growth and promotion of the chemical industry in India. The association supports and promotes all branches of the industry through a variety of events, trainings, awards & recognitions, policy advise and other useful activites.
