Indranil Sen has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect after Anupam Jindal steps down as CFO.

Indranil has over 17 years of diverse experience in financial planning, treasury, taxation and financial reporting. He started his career in statutory audit, and has worked in the audit division of B S R & Co. (the Indian arm of KPMG) in Kolkata and S R Batliboi & Co. (the Indian arm of Ernst & Young) in Bengaluru. Prior to joining Biocon, he was Director, Finance, at Symphony Teleca, a leading US-based multinational IT Company. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi.

He joined Biocon in 2014 and has, since then, performed various key leadership roles in the finance function.
