Nirlep Singh Rai, Director (Technical), National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has been appointed as Chairman & Managing Director, National Fertilizers Limited. 

He has a rich experience of three and a half decade experience handling various functional areas such as feedstock changeover from fuel oil to gas, commission of DCS and EDS systems, machine monitoring systems, process gas analyzers, fire and gas systems etc. His services include technical services, operation & maintenance of large scale fertilizer plants. 

Prior to his appointment as Chairman & Managing Director, he held the position of Director (Technical) in the NFL. Rai had also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. and he had also headed the Nangal Unit of NFL as Chief General Manager. Rai is a B.E (Instrumentation & Control) from Thapar University.
