Prof. Aniruddha Bhalchandra Pandit, Vice Chancellor, ICT Mumbai has been conferred with the prestigious Vigyan Shri Award in the field of Engineering Sciences. 

The award was presented by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at a grand ceremony in New Delhi. 

Prof. Pandit was recognized for his pioneering innovation in: Cavitational and Multiphase Reactor Engineering: His work has redefined industrial applications in this domain; and Microbial Cell Disruption: He developed a novel, highly energy-efficient method for disrupting microbial cells and bacteria, offering a superior alternative to conventional industrial techniques. 

Prof. Aniruddha B. Pandit is a distinguished academic and researcher with an illustrious career spanning over three decades in the field of chemical engineering. He is renowned for his groundbreaking research in various interdisciplinary domains. A prolific researcher, Prof. Pandit has authored over 465 research publications with 50 plus patents to his credit. 

This recognition is a tribute to his lifelong dedication to science, innovation, and sustainability. Under his leadership, ICT Mumbai continues to scale new heights in research and excellence.
