Saudi Aramco Chairman Al-Rumayyan joins Reliance Board

Saudi Aramco Chairman Yasir Othman Al-Rumayyan has joined Reliance Industries Limited Board of Directors.

Yasir Othman Al-Rumayyan is the Chairman of Saudi Aramco’s Board of Directors and the Governor of the Public Investment Fund. He also serves as an advisor to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the Chairman of the Saudi Decision Support Center, and a Board member of Uber Technologies, Inc. and ARM Limited.

"I am sure that we will immensely benefit from his rich experience with one of the world's largest companies, and also one of the largest Sovereign Wealth Funds in the world," said Mukesh D. Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director, Reliance Industries Limited. 

"His joining our Board is also the beginning of internationalisation of Reliance. You will hear more about our international plans in the times to come," added Mukesh Ambani.

He holds a bachelor degree in accounting from King Faisal University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s General Management Program.
