Tarun Kapoor appointed as Petroleum Secretary, Govt of India

Kapoor is a 1987 batch IAS officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre and presently serving as Vice Chairman, Delhi Development Authority, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

The Government has appointed Tarun Kapoor as Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in place of M. M. Kutty, who superannuates on 30 April 2020, an order issued by the Personnel Ministry said.

Tarun is a 1987 batch IAS officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre and presently serving as Vice Chairman, Delhi Development Authority, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
