Construction of SIBUR Innovations’ new research and development center, along with its technology scaling building, has been completed on schedule.
The facade glazing and roofing are finished, the thermal envelope of both buildings is fully closed, and the heating system is operational—clearing the way for the next phase of work without seasonal delays.
Procurement of equipment and materials is also complete, with a localization rate exceeding 70%—one of the highest for R&D facilities of this scale in Russia. More than 20 Russian companies will supply specialized test rigs, reactor equipment, temperature control units, and laboratory infrastructure components.
Finishing work on the buildings will kick off in early 2026, using modern synthetic materials such as polymer pipes for water and heating, polymer-insulated cables, HPL panels, and advanced flooring, all chosen for durability and quality.
"We are consistently completing the project's key stages according to schedule. In the summer of 2026, we will begin equipping the center, and in the first quarter of 2027, we will begin research and development at the new site ," said Ilnaz Zaripov, CEO of the SIBUR Innovations Research and Development Center.
