Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited is taking another major step in advancing the circular economy by launching a Zero Waste to Landfill initiative at its PETValue Philippines recycling facility.
The company has demonstrated how cross-industry collaboration can recover more value from waste while reducing landfill dependence.
The initiative brings together PETValue Philippines, Indorama Ventures' bottle-to-bottle recycling joint venture with Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines (CCEAP), and Republic Cement & Building Materials, one of the Philippines' leading cement manufacturers.
The partnership creates an integrated circular solution that ensures materials that cannot be recycled into new PET bottles are instead recovered and put to productive use.
Through its recycling business, IndoNova, Indorama Ventures transforms post-consumer PET bottles into high-quality food-grade recycled PET (rPET), helping keep valuable materials in circulation.
While bottle-to-bottle recycling remains at the core of its operations, the company is expanding its circularity strategy through partnerships that maximize resource recovery beyond the recycling process.
Located in Cavite, PETValue Philippines is the country's first bottle-to-bottle, food-grade PET recycling facility, converting used PET bottles into new food-grade packaging.
As part of the new initiative, bottle caps and labels that cannot be recycled are recovered by ecoloop, Republic Cement's resource recovery business, and co-processed as an alternative fuel in cement manufacturing, ensuring the materials continue to deliver value instead of ending up in landfill.

By combining PETValue's bottle-to-bottle recycling capabilities with Republic Cement's resource recovery expertise, the collaboration creates a more complete circular system that keeps more materials in productive use while unlocking additional value from waste streams.
