Brenntag, the global leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, has signed a new supply agreement with Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited for anticorrosive pigments for paints, coatings, plastics, and other applications in Australia.

Brenntag has maintained a supply agreement with Heubach GmbH, a newly acquired subsidy of Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited, for more than 20 years for the New Zealand market. Sudarshan, a market leader in pigments with a long history of innovation in pigment chemistry, has decided to continue and expand the long-standing partnership.

The portfolio of Sudarshan includes Heucophos and Heucorin, two high-performance anticorrosive pigment ranges that provide sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions. These pigments are designed to significantly extend the life of materials and reduce long-term maintenance costs, making them particularly well-suited to Australia’s demanding climate, where durable protection against corrosion is critical.

Robert Kurniadi Kwok, Head of Sales, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited, said, "We are pleased to extend our relationship with Brenntag, a partner we deeply value for their market knowledge, reliability, and customer reach. Together, we can deliver our sustainable anticorrosive pigment solutions, such as Heucophos and Heucorin, to a wider base of customers in Australia, helping them meet the highest standards of performance and protection."

Gary Woolly, Commercial Manager, Australia and New Zealand, Brenntag Specialties Material Science APAC, said, "Our collaboration with Heubach, and now Sudarshan, has been built on more than two decades of trust and shared growth. Over the years, we have seen the business develop strongly in New Zealand, and this new agreement marks the exciting next phase as we extend our partnership into the Australian market. We are confident that Sudarshan’s innovation in pigment chemistry, combined with Brenntag’s distribution expertise, will bring significant value to customers across Australia."
