Eurofragance has unveiled Olivante, a fragrance ingredient created by upcycling waste from the olive oil industry.

This, as the multinational fragrance house reported major sustainability milestones in its 2025 Sustainability Report, including a 41% reduction in direct emissions and water consumption per ton produced since 2021 and a second consecutive EcoVadis Platinum Medal.

The report highlights significant progress across the company's environmental strategy, with Eurofragance's offices, Creative Center and production facility in Spain now operating on 100% certified renewable electricity. Since 2021, the company has also reduced energy consumption per ton of fragrance produced by 17%.

Eurofragance said its solar panel installation at its Spanish manufacturing facility prevented the emission of 44 tons of CO₂, while the company has maintained carbon neutrality across its manufacturing sites since 2023 through the reduction and offsetting of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.

A key highlight of the report is the launch of Olivante, a proprietary fragrance ingredient developed through the upcycling of olive oil industry waste. The innovation strengthens the company's circular economy strategy and reflects its focus on developing lower-impact raw materials.

"This report demonstrates that it is possible to continue growing while reducing our environmental footprint and strengthening our social and governance standards. Every achievement, from reducing emissions to launching Olivante and reinforcing our responsible supply chain, reflects a shared vision: building a more resilient company that is prepared for the future,” says Diana March, Chief Sustainability & Technical Compliance Officer at Eurofragance.

Eurofragance also retained its EcoVadis Platinum Medal for the second consecutive year in 2025, placing the company among the top 1% of businesses assessed by the global sustainability ratings platform in its sector.

Beyond environmental performance, the report outlines progress across environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities, reinforcing  Eurofragance's commitment to the United Nations Global Compact since 2021. The company highlighted initiatives to expand circular economy practices, strengthen waste management and improve recycling across its global operations.

Joan Pere Jiménez, CEO of Eurofragance, states: “2025 was a pivotal year. We continued to expand our production capacity and global presence, demonstrating that growth and sustainability can advance hand in hand. Reducing our environmental impact, driving responsible innovation and strengthening our value chain are key priorities for Eurofragance’s future.”

The company also reported strong performance in safety and quality, with 100% of ingredients in its portfolio assessed for compliance and safe use, while recording no Product Health & Safety non-conformity claims during 2025.

On the social front, Eurofragance invested nearly 10,000 hours in employee training and development, allocated 2.7% of net profit to social and community initiatives, and achieved 50% female representation across both its global Management Team and its subsidiaries.

The report also underscores progress in responsible sourcing. Eurofragance said 82% of its raw material and packaging suppliers have signed its Code of Ethics, while 77% have adopted their own sustainability policies. The company also completed a gap analysis in preparation for RSPO certification, which is expected in 2026.
