Chiyoda Corporation has signed a new Enterprise Framework Agreement (EFA) with Shell Global Solutions International, locking in engineering and procurement support for potential future projects across the globe.
The agreement builds on more than five decades of collaboration between the two companies, during which Chiyoda has supported Shell on major energy projects worldwide. The new framework is designed to streamline how that partnership operates going forward, enabling faster access to Chiyoda’s engineering and procurement capabilities as project demands arise.
Under the EFA, both companies aim to improve speed and coordination in project execution. By drawing on Chiyoda’s experience in delivering complex energy infrastructure, the agreement is intended to support quicker mobilization, tighter integration, and greater predictability around cost and schedule outcomes. It also positions Shell to respond more efficiently to shifting market and project conditions.
“Based on its purpose of 'Enriching Society through Engineering Value', Chiyoda partners with customers from the earliest stages of project development to realize 'business co-creation', while aiming to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through its mission of 'Energy and Environment in Harmony'.”
