Worley lands three US contracts to power data center expansion

Worley Limited has secured three engineering services contracts from Burr Computer Environments, Inc. (BCEI) to support the expansion of data center infrastructure across the United States.
The ASX-listed engineering group will provide engineering, detailed design and procurement support for energy center projects that will supply behind-the-meter power to data center campuses.
The projects will deploy a mix of gas turbines, aeroderivative turbines and reciprocating engines, alongside battery energy storage systems and electrical distribution networks within the campuses.
Work will be delivered through Worley’s Houston, Charleston, West Virginia, and Reading offices, with support from its Global Integrated Delivery team.
“Together, these projects represent a significant program of energy infrastructure supporting the growth of major data center developments in the United States,” said Chris Ashton, Chief Executive Officer of Worley.

The contracts underscore the growing need for dedicated power infrastructure as data centers expand and electricity demand rises from increasingly power-intensive workloads.
