Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has expanded its premium LPG offering, Bharatgas Lite ZIP, to 100 cities across India, sharply widening the reach of its convenience-focused proposition.
The Fortune Global 500 company and Maharatna PSU said the rollout spans 23 states and Union Territories, including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
Launched in Mumbai on July 18, 2026, Bharatgas Lite ZIP has been progressively introduced across markets since its debut. The 100-city expansion now takes the offering to a substantially larger and more diverse consumer base.
The proposition combines a lightweight composite LPG cylinder with services aimed at making connections and deliveries faster and easier. Its key features include Instant New Connection and Express Delivery, positioning Bharatgas Lite ZIP as a more flexible alternative for consumers seeking convenience at multiple stages of their LPG journey.

At the heart of Bharatgas Lite ZIP is the Bharatgas Lite composite cylinder, designed to be lightweight, corrosion-free and transparent, allowing consumers to see LPG levels. BPCL said the cylinder also offers enhanced safety, contemporary design and easier handling.
The service layer is designed to complement those features. Instant New Connection simplifies the onboarding process for new customers, while Express Delivery is intended to shorten the wait for LPG cylinder deliveries.
BPCL is positioning the offering particularly for working professionals, students, young families and the floating population—consumer segments for whom easier handling, speed and flexibility can be important considerations in everyday LPG use.
