LIC decreases its shareholding in DCM Shriram Industries
DCM Shriram Industries’ composite scheme of arrangement
DCM Shriram Industries Ltd. (DCMSR) has received observation letter from BSE Ltd. with DCM Shriram Industries Ltd. and subsequent demerger of demerged undertakings of DCMSR into two separate companies, namely, DCM Shriram Fine Chemicals Limited and DCM Shriram International Limited. There shall be no change in the shareholding pattern DCM Shriram Fine Chemicals Limited and DCM Shriram International Limited between the record date and the listing which may affect the status of this approval.
LIC decreases its shareholding in DCM Shriram Industries
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has decreased its shareholding in equity shares of DCM Shriram Industries Ltd. from 58,06,760 to 40,52,635 i.e., 6.675% to 4.659% of the paid-up capital of the said company. Holding decreased from 6.6715% to 4.659%, a net decrease of 2.016% during the period from 8.10.2021 to 13.09.2024 at an average cost of about Rs. 110.072. DCM Shriram Industries Ltd. is primarily engaged in production and sale of sugar, alcohol, power, chemicals, drones, and industrial fibers.
