Grasim Industries Limited has appointed K. Suresh as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) – Manufacturing (Fibre) of the Company with effect from 1st January 2024 in place of Kalyan Ram Madabhushi who has relinquished his position with effect from 31st December 2023 as Chief Operations Officer – Manufacturing, Pulp and Fibre business, on account of early retirement and will continue with the company till 31st March, 2024.

Suresh comes with a wealth of experience of over 35 years of which 30 years is with Aditya Birla Group in two stints. He has held multiple roles in India and Thailand, including as the Unit Head – Grasim Chemicals Division, Nagda, and Unit Head - Harihar, Pulp & Fibre business. He carries deep manufacturing expertise with a focus on technical excellence and productivity and has developed people around him over the years.

He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Panjab University and a Masters in Industrial Engineering from BITS Pilani.
