Satish Patil has been appointed as Chief Digital and Information Officer of Welspun Corp Limited with effect from September 13, 2024.

Patil brings three decades of experience with companies of repute such as L&T, TCS, Birla Consulting, Godrej-GE Appliances, and Triveni Engineering. He has proficiency in digital strategy, digital maturity assessment, digital solutions and implementation roadmap, digital adoption, and digital experience enhancement to enterprise stakeholders.

He joins from Triveni Engineering, where he served as Group Chief Digital Officer leading the incubation & realization of strategic IT/digital platform based business initiatives across emerging digital technologies. During his tenure with L&T as Group Chief Digital Officer, he played a pivotal role in setting up IT/ Digital Organisation, a shared service across business, creation of a Digital Manch (a centralized Digital & IT Hub), Pioneering Annual Digital Confluence, and implementation of business initiatives such as smart cities, smart manufacturing, connected assets, Image Analytics and CEO/CXO Dashboard at Group level.

Patil is a Production Engineer and has completed his MBA in Finance from K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies. He also has professional certifications in PMP, SCOR and CSCP from the US and holds two patents in product warranty space.

Patil has come in place of Sivasubramanian who has stepped down from the position of the Chief Digital Officer of the company.
