States intending to set up dedicated chemical parks must submit their proposals by November 30, 2026
The government has issued guidelines for the implementation of Bhavya Rasayan Scheme for setting up of three dedicated chemical parks through a challenge-based selection process.
The BHAVYA-Rasayan Scheme operates with a total financial outlay of Rs. 3,030 crore over a five-year period from FY 2026-27 to FY 2030-31. This budget includes Rs. 3,000 crore allocated to develop common infrastructure facilities and basic utilities across three designated parks, alongside Rs. 30 crore designated for administrative expenses. Under the scheme, central funding for infrastructure is capped at Rs. 1,000 crore per park, provided that the respective state government contributes a minimum matching share of Rs. 500 crore.
The Bhavya Rasayan Scheme seeks to accelerate growth and development of the Indian chemical and petrochemical sector by addressing critical gaps in infrastructure. The Scheme aims to augment domestic production capacity, reduce import dependence, and enhance exports by increasing cost competitiveness in the sector.
States intending to set up dedicated chemical parks under the Bhavya Rasayan Scheme must submit their proposals by November 30, 2026. Please ensure the proposal follows the prescribed format and includes all drawings, calculations, undertakings, and supporting documents required by the scheme guidelines.
